2011 Citroen C4 breaks cover
Citroen, the renowned French automaker has published the first details on its new-generation small family ride, Citroen C4. The fresh styled newcomer excels at sculpted body elements, newly-shaped headlights in A1 style, sophisticated rims design and amazingly enhanced interior ambience.
Aimed in offering exclusiveness and comfort, the 2011 model year C4 benefits from highly optimized aerodynamics and premium character packed in new dimensions: 4.33m long, 1.79m wide and 1.49m high. The new figures are 5cm longer, 2cm wider and 3cm taller than the current model, and offer huge boot compartment at 408-litres. In the terms of cabin ambience, the second generation C4 strikes with more practicality, spaciousness, occupant headroom and joyful experience. Following the new trends of maximum personal customization and comfort, the new Citroen C4 can be also styled to suit individual requirements with users able to adjust the color of the instrument display, select their own sound signals, adjust the intensity of the air-conditioning and even immerse themselves in the rich surround-sound of the new audio system. Exclusively, some of the high-grade models are fitted with a new massage function on the front seats.
Scheduled for public unveil at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show in September, the new C4 boasts some stunning new technologies on-board, including blind-spot monitoring system, a cornering light function, cruise control and speed-limiter with road speed memory settings, as well as an innovative new service called eTouch. These new hi-tech features are in addition to the already astonishing list of equipment in the C4. The remarkable family ride is also engineered to be ultra-friendly on the environment as it is offered with the brand's new micro-hybrid e-HDi powertrains, which feature the latest generation Stop & Start system that helps deliver CO2 emissions as low as 109g/km at launch - and 99g/km on future models.
