Head turning track-to-street hi-tech Z06 Carbon Limited
Chevrolet has announced its newest race inspired masterpiece named 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition. Developed exclusively to mark the 50th anniversary of Corvette's first race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the newcomer continues the brand's trend of track-to-street technology transfer.
The limited edition Corvette will be available in two exterior shades - Inferno Orange and Supersonic Blue. Its body differs from the series Z06 by a newly added ZR1-style spoiler, body color door handles, a carbon fiber raised hood, black carbon fiber rockers and sporty splitter.
The extremely styled limited race-inspired ride is further packed with special Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with dark gray metallic calipers. This powerful brake unit was first introduced on the unmistakable athlete ZR1. Black 19- and 20-inch multi-spoke rims respectively at the front and rear complement the ride's high-performance Michelin PS2 tires. Other technology highlights are the Magnetic Selective Ride Control and the unique carbon pattern engine cover.
In the terms of interior ambience, the Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition packs top-quality leather and suede complemented by blue or orange seat stitching. Other features include a unique steering wheel emblem, sill plate and logoed headrest. The suede used on the steering wheel, shifter, seat inserts, armrests and doors add to the luxury of this limited edition Z06.
