2011 KTM X-BOW R - 300PS and 790KG
2011 KTM X-BOW R have been tested on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. "The car" made from the company only for time attack is powered by 2.0 liter TFSI engine from Audi S3 with around 300PS (221kW).
KTM X-BOW R weighs just 790 kg, so the power-to-weight ratio will be 2.63 kg/hp. The vehicle is homologated, two-seater without roof. The standard version is less powerful, but still develops 240PS (177kW), again from 2.0 liter TFSI engine.
The upgrades feature a suspension lowering and a new engine mount set-up to provide for better handling. Among the option list, X-BOW R includes a road-legal Sport package and a Race kit for a track-only version.
KTM will reveal further details, including pricing, about X-BOW R in the beginning of 2011.
