Lexus releases upgraded RX SUV range
Lexus has announced that an enhanced version of its RX SUV is now available on the Australian market. New on the 2011 model year Lexus RX SUV is the addition of an innovative Advanced Pre-Collision Safety system with pre-collision seatbelt and pre-collision brake assist functions.
The Advanced Pre-Collision Safety system works through inbuilt wave-based radar, which continuously monitor the road ahead for potential collision scenarios and applies the ride's brakes if the driver fails to.
Besides the innovative PCS system, the whole Lexus RX range also receives a refined audio and navigation system, which now offers full USB connectivity via Lexus' unique Remote Touch Screen and is capable to display, browse and select iPod content.
Tony Cramb, Lexus chief executive shared: "RX has a solid foundation in innovation. It debuted Hybrid to the world, introduced Lexus Remote Touch, and now it adds the Advanced Pre-Collision Safety system to its suite of on-board technology. Furthermore, refinements to navigation systems and on-board entertainment systems for the RX range only make it easier and more enjoyable to drive."
