2011 Opel Corsa - better engines and unique editions
2011 Opel Corsa comes with new engine line-up, better chassis and steering and some nice edition models to suit all tastes and styles.
The new Opel Corsa entire line-up ranges from 65 hp to 192 hp. The new 1.3 liter ecoFLEX model with 95hp (70kW) offers exceptionally low CO2 emissions of just 98 g/km. In addition you can order Start/Stop technology for further fuel savings.
Opel Corsa OPC is powered by 1.6 liter turbo petrol with 192hp (141kW), which has reduced fuel consumption by 7.6 per cent and reduced CO2 emissions by 9.5 percent. Fuel consumption is lowered to 7.3 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are reduced to 172 g/km. The mighty engine is mated with a manul 6-speed gearbox.
The diesel engines are 1.3 and 1.7CDTI, which range from 75hp to 130hp (55kW – 96kW). All of them have fuel consumption of under 4.5 liter per 100 km.
The new top-of-the-line 1.7CDTI delivers 130hp and maximum torque of 300Nm. The emissions are 118 g/km CO2 for the 3-door version – and fuel consumption is similarly reduced to just 4.5 l/100km. The car accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 9.5 seconds and reaches 200km/h.
Opel also introduces new special editions of the Corsa called "Color Line". The cars are equipped with 17" alloy wheels and are offered in nice bright body colours and design themes. Other features are the sport chassis, sport seats, dark taillights, dark tinted windows and a chromed, oval exhaust pipe. Furthermore, Corsa has center console in piano paint, alloy pedals and air vent rings.
The available engine range includes 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines and 1.3 and 1.7 CDTI turbo diesels.
The color options are Casablanca White, Sunny Melon yellow, Magma red, Oriental Blue or Black Sapphire. The Corsa Color Race will be specially for the fans of the high speeds.
