Honestly, I don't see the use of making sporty Forester, but Subaru obviosly does. The Forester tS is inspired by the S-Edition Concept, which was unveiled at the Australian motor show earlier this month.

Subaru Forester tS is powered by 2.5 liter turbocharged boxer engine with 263PS (193kW) and 347Nm of torque. Because of the vehicle's huge weight -1810 kg (3990 lbs), it doesn't stagger with performance characteristics, but it is fast enough.

However, the vehicle comes with tuned suspension including STi-tuned dampers and springs and flexible front and rear sway bars. Inside, it boasts part leather upholstery with STi logos. It also features sport steering wheel and pedals.

Subaru Forester tS will be available to buy only in Japan, which is not such a loss. What is more, it will be limited to 300 units.
