2011 Volkswagen Eos at the Los Angeles Auto Show
Volkswagen released the first details and pictures of the facelifted 2011 Eos.
It features a new front and rear bumper, modified headlights, a revised grille, and LED taillights. The interior has slight changes - a new multi-function display and optional "Cool" leather seats which reflect sunlight and heat. Additionally, you can order Light Assist (which automatically switches between high- and low beams), Park Assist, and Keyless Access.
The engine range includes two petrol and a diesel variant, all of them are four-cylinder turbocharged. The petrol power plants develop 122PS (90kW) and 210PS (155kW) and the diesel engine produces 140PS (103kW). Furthermore, the TDI gains regenerative braking and Start/Stop technology which lowers fuel consumption to 4.8 l/100 km (49 mpg US).
2011 Volkswagen Eos will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show and the first sales in Europe will begin in January 2011.
