2012 Ferrari FF
2012 Ferrari FF is the latest exotic supersports masterpiece by the renowned Italian auto maker Ferrari. Its FF badge is an acronym for Ferrari Four, representing the first ever four-wheel drive car by the Maranello-based manufacturer. The FF is designed by the famous innovators Pininfarina, and is further the most powerful and versatile Ferrari four-seater.
The Ferrari FF benefits from the company's first ever four-wheel drive system (4RM), which weighs 50 per cent less than the average four-wheel drive systems and maintains perfect weight distribution (53 per cent over the rear axle). In addition to that, the FF also utilizes the latest magnetorheological damping system (SCM3), as well as the most recent development in carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo.
In the terms of powering, this exception Ferrari is fitted with a new 6,262 cc direct injection plant that delivers 660 CV at 8,000 revs. In tandem with its transaxle dual-clutch F1 gearbox, extraordinary sprint figures (0-100 km/h in 3.7 sec) are recorded.
Waiting impatiently in the garage till its official debut, which is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show, the FF will be marketed in six exterior shades with interior trim incorporating specially selected and treated aniline leather.
