2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 and Boss 302 Laguna Seca will join Woodward Dream Cruise
Ford has announced that it is about to exhibit its recently revealed pony vehicles, the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 and the specially-tweaked Boss 302 Laguna Seca at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Ferndale, Mich. Along with the new highlight models, the visitors at the show will be further pleased by 10 original Boss Mustangs and more than 500 Mustangs, as Woodward Dream Cruise is one of the largest gatherings of Mustangs in the US.
Fritz Wilke, Mustang brand manager, shares: "We're celebrating our entire Mustang lineup with this display. We are letting enthusiasts get up close to learn about and experience our newest Mustangs and see the heritage of Mustangs at the same time."
For the ‘Stang fans looking to take a memory of the event home, Mustang Boss 302 T-shirts will be given away.
The undoubted "Boss" at the party, the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 showcases new front fascia, a modified grille, a front splitter, and massive 19-inch 10-spoke rims wrapped in high-performance Pirelli PZero tyres. In the cabin, the hot pony boasts revised instrument cluster, an Alcantara steering wheel, dark metallic trim and black pool-cue shifter, as well as optional Recaro sport seats.
In the most tempting compartment, the power one, the 2012 Boss 302 packs a 5.0-liter V8 block with 440 horsepower (328 kW) and 515 Nm (380 lb-ft) of peak torque. Its higher figures are reached thanks to an all-new intake, a quad exhaust unit and modified camshafts.
