Hennessey Performance has just unveiled the 2012 Hennessey VelociRaptor APV, an amazing combination between rough power, strength, exclusive safety and passenger comfort. The staggering ‘machine' is based upon the recently released Ford Raptor Super Crew and offers a choice of few seating options – for six, seven and eight passengers.Under the bonnet, the Hennessey VelociRaptor Armored Performance Vehicle sports a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 power unit which delivers the tempting figure of 575 horsepower, ensuring that the ride can easily drive away from, through or over obstacles both on the road as well as off-road. The astounding performance is achieved through a masterful modification pack - ProCharger D-1SC centrifugal supercharger unit, upgraded fuel injectors, a large air-to-air intercooler as well as ECU remap.The experts at Hennessey have also equipped a non-armored version of the VelociRaptor APV which will offer off-road enthusiasts the same level of utility and off-road capability that the Ford Raptor is renowned for.Upon a request, a full line of electronic upgrades will be also available, featuring: Satellite TV, high-speed internet, entertainment systems and mobile office systems.
