2012 Vauxhall Ampera - 28 995 GBP
Vauxhall will hit the market with their Ampera and the vehicle now has a price tag for the UK market - 28 995 GBP.
The new Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (E-REV) will go on sale in 2012. It has a range of up to 50 miles (80 km) in the electric only mode, but this range is extended by an additional 310 miles (500 km) by the range extender engine.
However, you can benefit of buying a Vauxhall Ampera, because you won't have to pay the TFL congestion charge, Vehicle Excise Duty payments and 5% company car taxation. The Vauxhall Ampera price is also lowered by the 5000 GBP Plug-In Car Grant.
