2013 Nissan Sentra US - Price $15,990
Nissan has announced the new 2013 Sentra, which will hit the US market in couple of weeks. The pricing starts from $15,990 without the $790 destination and handling charge. The redesign of Sentra focuses on class-above design standards inside and out, as well as efficiency in engineering.
The new model is cheaper, but it is because 2013 Sentra comes with a 1.8 liter engine delivering 130HP (97 kW) and 173Nm (128 lb-ft) of torque, instead of the 2.0 liter 140HP (104 kW) and 199Nm (147 lb-ft) outgoing version.
The new premium interior delivers roominess that is among the best in segment and a range of available comfort and driver-focused technology features, including heated leather-appointed seating surfaces, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control, Bose® Premium Audio System, RearView Monitor and NissanConnectSM with Navigation system.
The standard model is has a 6-speed manual gearbox and the more expensive one come with a CVT.

The new Sentra is five percent lighter than the outgoing model, yet has slightly larger overall dimensions and more interior room. The lighter and more aerodynamic new Sentra allows Nissan to use a more fuel-efficient 1.8-liter engine, which along with the next generation Xtronic CVT® with sub-planetary gear helps deliver a 13 percent improvement in EPA combined fuel economy (versus the previous generation Sentra). Sentra FE+ S and FE+ SV grades achieve 40 mpg on the highway. Other CVT-equipped models are rated at 39 mpg on the highway. All CVT models achieve a best-in-class* EPA rated 34 mpg combined (City and Highway) and a more than 415-mile real-world driving range***.
