The official revealing of the all-new 2014 BMW X4 matches to International Women's Day. There is no doubt that the X6 is one of the most muscular and aggressive vehicles currently available on the market and if you match it with a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine, it becomes a real beast, which is certainly not suitable for girls. That's why, the German manufacturer has created the X4, which turns to be a women's SAC.

Do not mistake the new X4 with soft and shy car, which you can see on the road. It has a really strong presence thanks to the wide stance and the aggressive front. This SAC is designed for strong and independent women, who want to declare their presence on the road.

The exterior of 2015 BMW X4 boasts a prominent grille flanked by twin headlights and distinctive fog lights. The sloping roofline and the four doors without frames are classic for the sports coupe design. At the rear, we can see L-shaped LED taillights and a big diffuser. The X4 is based on the current X3, but it is 14mm longer and 36mm lower, which means more interior space even for up to five people.

Talking about interior, it is classical for the current BMWs – a semi-driver oriented dashboard with a lot of switches and buttons. The i-Drive console is placed on more intuitive place and features touch function. There is a lot of high quality materials used in the cabin as well as aluminum trim, electroplated accents and gloss black control panel surrounds. There is also a 40:20:40 split rear seat which folds down to expand the luggage compartment to whopping 1,400 liters.

The engine range includes three diesel and three gasoline engines at the beginning. The diesels are a 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder with 190 HP (140 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft); a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder with 258 HP (190 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) and a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder with 313 HP (230 kW) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft). The petrol range includes a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder with 184 HP (135 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft); a 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol with 245 HP (180 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) and a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder petrol with 306 HP (225 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft).

In conclusion, the 2015 X4 is a real BMW coming with aggressive exterior, ergonomic interior and powerful engines. It is a perfect choice for those who don't want a vehicle as big as X6, but they want to be noticed.
