2017 Camaro ZL1: Chevy's Response To Track's New Challenges
2017 Camaro ZL1 is expected to set new benchmark for the advanced sports coupe segment. And these expectations have a logical explanation: the advanced technologies, refined drivetrain system and the exceptional skills of Chevrolet engineers are the key elements that make this vehicle so special. As we all know, one of the most notable features of the ZL1 is the engine system. Vehicle's heart is a monstrous 6.2-liter V8 power unit that produces a total of 640hp (477kW), paired either to a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic gearbox. The fine-tuned handling system and the countless lightweight components also contribute to the overall great performance: the Magnetic Ride suspension and the electronic limited-slip differential systems make sure that this sweetie dominates the track.
Stunning Looks
The new ZL1 also catches the eye with striking visuals. The exterior demonstrates some redesigned components and overall massive and aggressive appearance. The lower grille opening not only contributes to more appealing front end view, but also helps for better airflow, while the new hood with carbon fiber insert and heat extractor contribute to the cooling. Additional features include large front splitter, unique rockers, wing-style rear spoiler and wider front fenders. These additions not only enhance the muscular stance of the vehicle, but also help for better aerodynamics and performance rates.
