AC Schnitzer has announced its latest BMW conversion – the AC Schnitzer BMW 5-series Sedan (F10). Launched on the market in May 2010, the hot enhanced Bavarian ride now boasts even more stylish vision and dynamic stance.

In the terms of performance, the Aachen-based tuning specialist offers a performance upgrade for the 530d model, pumping its figures to the strong 286 horsepower instead of the factory 245 horsepower. AC Schnitzer reports that power enhancements for the BMW 520d, 525d and 535d are also in development.

On styling and aerodynamic level, the retrofitted executive ride is a real deal. It benefits from an all-new front spoiler, a chromed grille, side skirts, AC Schnitzer rear skirt insert that integrates the new twin sports rear silencer flawlessly, a rear roof spoiler as well as a rear spoiler. Further styling flavour is ensured by the AC Schnitzer spring kit which lowers the 5-series Sedan by 25 millimetres, and the rich variety of 19- and 20-inch alloys in sleek designs. The undoubted highlight of the wheel range for the new 5-series (F10) is the forged alloy wheel ‘Type V', which is available is sizes of 9.0J and 10.0J x 20-inch with tyres 245/35 R20 on the front and 285/30 R 20 on the rear axle.

For maximum portion safety, the AC Schnitzer BMW 5-series Sedan (F10) hosts an 8-piston high performance brake system on the front axle, which provides great deceleration at ultra-high speeds.
