2015 Audi A3 Sedan Hits The U.S. Market [VIDEO]
2015 Audi A3 Sedan includes an exclusive compact powerhouse which represents a new entry level for the brand. The vehicle offers a combination of standard features including a panoramic glass sunroof, leather seating surfaces, and bi-xenon headlights.
The new Audi model is currently hitting the U.S. market and will be joined later in 2014 by Audi A3 Cabriolet and A3 TDI clean diesel, and in early 2015 by S3 sedan and A3 Sportback e-tron gasoline electric hybrid (PHEV).
The A3 base model is equipped with standard features that include Audi signature LED DRLs and taillights, Bluetooth technology, Audi pre sensebasic and as mentioned – a panoramic glass sunroof.
What is more, for the first time for a vehicle in this segment, the A3 will include MMI technology, Audi drive select, 4G LTE connectivity and Bang & Olufsen audio. In addition, the interior of the car will also feature standard leather seating surfaces and exceptional ergonomics, which will contribute for the ambient and luxury experience of the occupants.
The engine range in the A3 sedan includes: 1.8 TFSI®, 2.0 TFSI®, 2.0 TDI® clean diesel, and a high-output 2.0 TFSI. An in order for the model to achieve superior traction and handling, it will be available with Audi's quattro all-wheel drive that will distribute power to the wheels that need it most.
All of the aforementioned units will be mated to the standard 6-speed S tronic transmission. The result will be great shifting flexibility and driving pleasure with smooth, dynamic acceleration and no interruption to the power flow.
Moreover, some new design features will be also included exclusively in the 2015 A3. We are speaking about the Singleframe grille and the optional full-LED headlights. 2015 Audi A3 Sedan has a starting price of $29 900 USD.
