Audi RS 3 Sportback is the famous brand’s latest addition, aimed at delivering fans staggering performance figures, exclusive styling and precise handling in ultra fresh, compact package. The „four rings” eye-catcher sports a 2.5-liters five cylinders, turbocharged power unit, which is capable of producing the amazing 340 horsepower (250 kW) and 450 Nm (331.90 lb-ft) of torque, with an average fuel consumption of just 9.1-liters per 100 km. This wild amount of power is transferred to all wheels (quattro permanent all-wheel drive) via a ultra-dynamic seven-speed S tronic module.
Weighing only 1,575 kilograms, the Audi RS 3 Sportback sprints from standstill to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) for only 4.6 seconds. In the terms of chassis, the new range-topping model in the A3 series spotlights long list of sporty additions, including: four-link rear suspension, McPherson front suspension, redesigned coil springs and shock absorbers and 19-inch cast aluminum rims wrapped with 235/35 tires at the front and 225/35 at the rear axle.
The RS 3 Sportback is planned to hit the market in early 2011 with a base price in Germany of 49,900 Euro.
