Super Hatchback Concept is one of the latest creations the designer Jamie Martin. His renderings are awesome and he also animated its creation. The car measures 4014cm in length, 1924cm in width and 1358 in height. The wheelbase is 2602cm.

The body is created from 65% steel and 35% Aluminium, which is used for front wings, bonnet and bumpers. Alternatively 30% Glass Reinforced Plastic can used for denoted sections.

The engine is in front with lateral orientation. It features sequential twin-turbocharging with overboost facility, direct injection, stop-start technology, regenerative braking, alternator de-coupling system. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed short-shift manual gearbox, and optional 7-speed Ford powershift transmission with Paddleshift.

The car is rated to have 272hp at 5500RPM and 390Nm of torque between 1750 and 5500RPM. The total weight is 1280kg, which makes 212bhp per tonne. With such power, the sprint from 0 to 62mph will take only 5.6 seconds and 0 to 100mph in only 13.3. The top speed is 167mph (268 km/h). The engine will return 52mpg on combined cycle and it will emitt just 115g/km of CO12.

Super Hatchback Concept stands on 18" forged lightweight alloys fitted with 245/40 R18 run-on-flat tyres. The rims shelter 4-pot front brake calipers and 2-pot Rear with 350mm and 320mm discs, respectively; both drilled, ventilated and colour-coordinated.

The SHC is priced at £27 000.
