2015 Caravelle Generation SixVolkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched a unique edition of the well-known Caravelle people carrier to honor its iconic predecessor. The modern vehicle comes with red and white two-tone exterior color scheme and has that visual stand-out, while the inside is geared with numerous inserts on the dashboard and distinctive interior components. The Caravelle Generation Six is already available to order from the Volkswagen Van Centres.

The contemporary design is inspired by the well-known two-tone pattern from the iconic 1960's model and along it the special edition offers and some modern driving experience. The Special Edition features and 18-inch DISC alloy wheels, LED head- and taillights, front fog lights and chrome details. And being now a modern vehicle, the Special Edition also offers and contemporary driving experience with the Euro 6 BlueMotion Technology engines: the vehicle is offered with either EU6 2.0-liter 150 hp (110 kW) or 204 hp (150 kW) TDI, paired to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

But let's get back to the interior. Generation Six's seats are wrapped with Alacantara leather with textile floor mats. The leather also covers the multi-function steering wheel. The vehicle looks like gives vast amounts of space and comfort. The equipment further includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist, Discover Media Infotainment with DAB and Bluetooth as a standard. And let's not forget the vital 3-zone Climatronic air conditioner that ensures that everyone in the vehicle will feel comfortable and fresh.
