Chevrolet releases Camaro Convertible Neiman Marcus Edition
Chevrolet's all-new, long-anticipated 2011 Camaro Convertible has exclusively showed its face from the pages of the Neiman Marcus "Christmas Book" last week. Presented in special, luxury livery inspired by the iconic top-performance Camaro SS, the showcased Camaro Convertible is one of the highlights in the 84th edition of the luxury retailer's catalog of ultimate holiday gifts.
Tom Peters, Chevrolet Design director shared:Â "Neiman Marcus provides a great platform to showcase the new Camaro Convertible. And, it enabled us to create a special edition car that combines the powerful design and performance of the new Camaro with an element of exclusivity, craftsmanship and customized luxury."
The exclusive Camaro Convertible Neiman Marcus edition is limited to only 100 examples and its exterior utilizes royal Deep Bordeaux finish blended with "ghosted" rally stripes. The amazing outer dress of the car is further reinforced by a color-matched fabric top and windshield frame finished in matte silver. Following the special exterior character, the interior of the Neiman Marcus Edition Camaro Convertible benefits from leather interior appointments, packing amber-colored leather seating surfaces offset by black leather side panels and red stitching. The red accents are found on the center console, steering wheel and shift knob.
Priced at 75,000 USD, the 2011 Camaro Convertible Neiman Marcus edition is powered by a 6.2-liter, V-8 engine, which delivers the staggerring 426 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque linked with six-speed manual transmission, and 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque paired with six-speed automatic.
Further highlights of the special edition convertible ride include: 21-inch, polished alloys fitted in Pirelli P-Zero tires, Brembo disc brakes, LED halo-ring headlamps, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking assist, and a 245-watt, Boston Acoustics sound system.
