Closer look on the 2011 Volkswagen CrossPolo
Further details about 2011 CrossPolo are now reveled. The first pictures of the vehicle emerged several months ago with scant information, now we can have a closer look to the five-door hatch with SUV looks.
The petrol engine range includes puany 1.2 litre with 69hp, more powerful 1.4 litre delivering 84hp and top of range 1.2TSI, which develops satisfying 104hp. There are also three TDI engines starting with 1.6 litre with 74hp, then 89hp and the nicely powered 104hp version.
The exterior look features the anthracite front apron with integrated front fog lights, black honeycomb insert with chrome trim and anodized roof rails, which have become a signature for the Cross range.
The lower half of the body is painted in black, so did wheel arch extensions and silver "stone guards" at both ends. The small crossover is equipped with big 17" alloy wheels fitted with 215/40 R17 tyres. The colour range includes six body paints including CrossPolo exclusive Magma Orange and Terra Beige Metallic.
The interior includes two-tone theme, too. The seats and door trims can be upholstered in Hot Orange, Orange, Latte Macchiato and Grey coupled with anthracite - the standard colour for the outer areas of the seats. As an option you can order height-adjustable sport seats, an asymmetrically split rear bench and backrest, pockets on the backs of the front seats with sliding drawers under them, leather-trimmed steering wheel, front centre armrest with storage compartment and aluminium look pedals, of course at reasonable price offered by official dealers.
The luggage space is just perfect for hatchback – 280 litre, which can be expanded to 952 litres by folding the rear seats.
Official price list will be presented later this month.
