Dodge is shaking the muscle car scene because it has opened the orders for the new Challenger Shaker models. With this step the company is celebrating the 45 years of the functional "cold-air grabbing" hood scoop that "shakes" with the legendary HEMI V-8 engine's movement. The models in the range are three: 2015 Challenger R/T Shaker, R/T Plus Shaker and first-ever 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker.

The legendary "cold-air grabbing" Shaker comes equipped in Satin Black center-mounted hood scoop. Its function is to direct cooler air back into the engine. In addition, the functional Shaker hood features a Mopar cold-air intake, conical air filter and optimized air box for improved airflow and performance. When one lifts the hood, they will find a "Shaker" graphic which is reminiscent of the 1970s original.

The Challenger R/T Shaker is driven by the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine delivering up to 375 horsepower (275 kW) and 555 Nm (410 lb-ft) of torque. It can be equipped with the new TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission.

This car also features some distinctive elements like the Satin Black Shaker graphic stripes and the black cloth performance seats with Ballistic 2 inserts and Tungsten accent stitching. Other benefits are the 20-inch polished aluminum satin finish wheels with black pockets and the projector fog lamps.

For this model Dodge made a Super Track Pak that adds goodies like a lowering system, Bilstein shock absorbers, high-performance brakes, three-mode electronic stability control and Goodyear Eagle F1 rubbers. 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker model has a starting price of $35,495 USD.

Challenger R/T Plus Shaker builts on the previous model by adding heated and ventilated Nappa leather performance, leather-wrapped steering wheel with power tilt-and-telescoping column, Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen, 3-D navigation-capable, six premium speakers and 276-watt digital amplifier. The exterior stance is strengthened by the standard 20-by-9-inch matte black lightweight forged aluminum wheels. 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus Shaker is priced at $38,495 USD.

At the top of the range sits the Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker, crowned the "King of all Shakers." It is driven by the 6.4-liter 392 HEMI V-8 engine, delivering 485 horsepower (357 kW) and 644 Nm (475 lb-ft) of torque.

The unit can be mated with either the six-speed manual or the new TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission. Other styling and functional goodies in this edition are the Scat Pack fender badge, 392 HEMI Shaker hood badge, 180 mph primary speedometer, active stainless steel performance dual exhaust system, 220-amp alternator, Brembo four-piston high-performance brake package and 20-by-9-inch polished aluminum wheels.

Scat Pack Appearance Group is "invented" for those wanting the best of the best. This is an additional package which will give the 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker model Satin Black Bumble Bee rear stripe, Scat Pack-logo embroidered performance seats in Black or Ruby Red Nappa leather, animated "Scat Pack" Bumble Bee splash screen and 20-by-9-inch lightweight forged matte black aluminum wheels. 2015 Dodge Challenger 392 HEMI Scat Pack Shaker has a starting $42,495 USD.
