Arriving in three trim levels, Active 1, Active B&O PLAY and Active X, the new Fiesta has a lot to demonstrate. All three levels feature distinctive looks and tons of handy features. First of all, new Fiesta comes with tons of utility goodies: lane-keeping technology, rear seat belt minder, rear central headrest, auto headlamps, heated windscreen, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, rear privacy glass and many more. Also, buyers will benefit from the SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
However, the higher trim levels also offer some exclusive additions. For example, Active B&O PLAY features visual changes as black roof with black roof rails, premium audio system with 10 speakers and 360-degree audio technology. Neat. Furthermore, the model features yellow color theme, cruise control, rain – sensing wipers, auto-dimming rear view mirror, central console armrest and more.
And the top model trim level, the Active X comes with further refinement and even luxurious features. Buyers will be benefitting from heated front seats, power-foldable door mirrors with puddle lights, Ford SYNC 3 Navigation System, DAB Radio, large touch screen and more.
Drivetrain system
Ford team have decided to rely on the award-winning 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine. It would be offered with four different outputs: 85hp, 100hp, 125hp and the most powerful – 140hp. These units are paired to a new six-speed manual gearbox that contributes to delivering 105g/km CO2 emissions. Further drivetrain system features include high-pressure direct fuel injection, twin-independent variable cam timing and new crankshaft design for refined three-cylinder system workflow.
