HyperBlue Models By Subaru Are Ready for 2016!

Subaru of America Inc. finally announced what they got for us in the upcoming 2016. For example HyberBlue Limited will be available for BRZ and WRX STI modes. Furthermore, HyperBlue vehicle will be refreshed with special exterior paint. But sadly, production for the 700 WRX STI and 500 BRZ will be limited in US. So, let's check out some more details.

HyperBlue WRX STI Series

Coming with the powerful 305 horsepower (224 kW) turbocharged BOXER engine, the WRX STI HyperBlue helped to pioneer the sporty, yet compact segment with some rally-based drivetrain system, along with the special Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Yep, complicated as it sounds. Hopefully, engineers at Subaru know what they are doing. Furthermore, the standard equipment includes Active Torque Vectoring.

And for 2016 Subaru team will grant customers with some more trims. For example, the HuberBlue trim offers blue stitching to the standard seats (which is a kind of stupid idea), leather wrapped steering whel, manual transmission shifter boot, and cute carpeted floor mats. In my opinion it is not that bad, is it?

The HybperBlue WRX STI will also show its shiny and fresh 18-inch BBS Black Alloy wheels. SUBARU STARLINK 7.0 Multimedia Navigation System also comes as a feature with this trim. Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. You will also deal with 9 Harman/Kardon speakers, connected to a 440-watt amplifier. Tasty.

Furthermore, the WRX STI will be geared with a special and upgraded 6-speed manual geearbox and a special 3.5-inch central LCD screen, that gives information about different functions. Refreshed and ready to demonstrate its power. That's what I'm talking about.

HyperBlue BRZ Series

The BRZ will make some changes and will try to go back from where it started. For 2016 the BRZ  HyperBlue Series will offer an overall sporty design, low weight, low center of gravity and improved handling. And of course, the vehicle will offer some wonderful power: 200 hp (147kW) 2.0-BOXER powerplant. Nice, huh?

The exterior continues the well-known affair with 17-inch black alloy wheels, black glossy badging and black finish mirrors. There are also numerous more carbon-fiber elements, just like the dash panel.

From the exterior, we move to the interior, where the HyperBlue BRZ welcomes us to a leather-wrapped interior, blue stitching lines, leather-wrapped wheel and nicely done color scheme.

And now the hi-tech goodies. You get STARLINK 6.2" Multimedia System, AM/FM stereo, HD Radio, Bluetooth, hands-free connectivity, iPod control, iTunes Tagging. But wait, there is more! Aha and Pandora systems are also included, along with Stitcher, Calendar, Music Player. And many more.
