Streets Await Their New King: The Almighty Mercedes-AMG E 43 4MATIC
Hot and agile, the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the first Mercedes vehicle from this particular lineup to undergo some changes, made by AMG virtuosos. The E 43 4MATIC is geared with at 3.0-liter V6 biturbo power unit and by far represents the most powerful variant of the executive saloon. There are also some additional hi-tech gadgets that further boost the performance stats of the vehicle and contribute to the final result of 401hp (295kW) and peak torque of 520 Nm of torque from a low engine speed of 2500 rpm.
This package guarantees performance on a par with many a sports car: the new E 43 4MATIC reaches a speed of 100 km/h from a standing start in 4.6 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. But what about the other features?
Exterior design: sporty and aggressive
The visuals of the new E 43 4MATIC proudly show three large openings in the front apron, two stylish cross fins on the outer cooling openings and of course, a diamond grille with chromed pins and glossy AMG lettering.
The sides are dominated by distinctive 19-inch AMG five-spoke light alloys in high gloss black, while the rear features two chrome-plated quad-flow exhaust tailpipes, while the rear apron trim is covered in silver chrome.
Interior styling
On the other hand, the interior reinforces the dynamic calibre of the new E 43 4MATIC with countless additions. For example, driver and passengers will benefit from comfortable sporty seats with ARTICO upholstery that perfectly matches the whole cabin ambience. The multifunctional sports steering wheel is covered in black nappa leather with red contrasting topstitching and also features bottom section for enhanced driving experience.

Drivetrain system
The powerful V6 biturbo engine is mated to a 9G-TRONIC gearbox that offers smooth and fast shifts and 5 driving modes: Manual, Sport, Sport Plus, Eco and Comfort. Definitely this feature will please even the customers with high requirements. Furthermore, the AMG Performance 4MATIC 4-wheel drive system offers rear-biased torque distribution with front/rear axle split of 31 to 69 percent.
Additional equipment
AMG team offers as optional features AMG seats with increased lateral support through nappa leather upholstery, 20-inch bichromatic wheels and more.
2016 Mercedes-AMG E 43 4MATIC will make its global debut at the New York International Auto Show in March this year.
