Mopar and Dodge unveil the 2010 Challenger limited-edition
From this year's August, the Dodge dealerships will have a new highlight in the face of the special-edition Mopar 2010 Dodge Challenger. Full of muscles, uniqueness and exclusivity, this all-new pony ride will be manufactured in limited number of only 500 examples worldwide. The MSRP for the Dodge's performance beast is $38,000 with an automatic and $39,000 packed with a manual transmission, including $750 destination tax.
Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC, shares: "Our Mopar '10 Challenger is a collaboration of two iconic brands with tremendous heritage. Dodge put the heart into this Challenger and Mopar added the soul. The result is a unique, special-edition car that only we can offer."
Mopar 2010 Dodge Challenger is based upon the 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T, retrofitted with a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 block, a hood-venting system, a cold-air intake, a front strut-tower brace with shock caps, as well as a unique engine cover.
In the terms of exterior styling, the muscle ride will be offered in Brilliant Black shade with a choice of color for the side stripes: Mopar Blue, Red or Silver. Furthermore, the limited-edition Mopar sports sleek 20-inch forged rims, black-chromed grille surround, and an optimized T/A-style hood with vintage hood pins.
A special Katzkin leather seating, sports leather steering wheel, Mopar shift handles, and a serialized dash plaque with Mopar 2010 logo enriches exclusively the ride's cabin ambience, as well as lends it more sporty character and exotic nature.
