Porsche Boxster and 911 Carrera Black Editions Get Detailed

Porsche 911 Carrera and Boxster Black Editions have been shown for the first time more than two weeks ago. Now it is time for the exclusive car company to reveal some more of the cars by releasing additional pictures. They immediately grabbed my attention, as I am sure they will with yours, too.

I find the combination of all-black exterior and interior is fantastic. The aim of Porsche was to emphasize the timelessness and elegance of the models. Both Black Editions are built around the same philosophy and share many features in common. For instance such are the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module, rain sensor, cruise control, Sport Design steering wheel and automatically dimming rear-view mirrors.

Posche Boxster Black Edition

Starting with the cabriolet Boxster, it powered by the standard 2.7 litre flat engine which generates 265 hp (195 kW). The car is distinguished by its black treatment, but also by its exclusive features.

The car features wind deflector, which helps in the management of undesirable turbulence. It runs on 20-inch Carrera Classic wheels and lights-up its way with bi-xenon headlights that are fitted with PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System).

The interior can show-off with two-zone air conditioning and heated seats, as well as a Sound Package Plus. The soft top and rollover protection bar have been also made black.

Porsche 911 Carrera Black Edition

This one can be ordered in coupe or cabriolet variant, each of which will be powered by a 3.4 liter flat unit, generating 350 hp (257 kW). The 911 Carrera is available with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, and runs on 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels. LED headlights combined with the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+) are lighting-up its way.

The interior of this particular model features heated sports seats for the driver and passenger, Bose Surround Sound System, telephone module and front and rear Park Assist with reversing camera.
