Renault revealed the UK pricing on the Clio Gordini 200
Renault has announced the UK market launch of its sporty-styled compact beast - Renault Clio Gordini 200. Aimed at drivers who are searching for a ultra-nimble and at the same time premium-packed car, the newcomer is limited to only 500 examples for the British market and boasts the tempting price tag of £19,650 on the road.
The Gordini-badged Clio made its public premiere at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Its exterior benefits from a classic Malta Blue metallic paint job with twin white racing stripes, which start on the bonnet and extend on the roof and tailgate section. Its front section highlights a specially-styled bumper with gloss black centre and white F1-style "blade". The detailing of the Clio Gordini 200 continues with door mirrors shaded in contrast white and sleek 17-inch light alloys with polished face and black inner rim.
The famous French-flair is also found in the new ride's cabin, which also packs unique-styled elements. Its fresh Renaultsport leather seats and steering wheel are finished in special color combination - dark grey with blue accents. Moreover, the urban Renault features a Gordini-badged gearknob, white rev counter and a black-gloss centre console.
For exclusive performance, the engineers at Renault have mounted the Clio Gordini 200 with a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre 16-valve power unit that delivers 200 horsepower and 215 Nm of peak torque.
Standard in the sporty ride are a climate control, curtain airbags, anti-submarining airbags, automatic headlight and wiper activation, cruise control, speed limiter, ESC, 4x20W radio-CD with Bluetooth hands free system with fingertip remote control and multifunctional TunePoint with USB connection, heated and electrically folding door mirrors, double optic headlamps with additional cornering lights, Renault hands free card for automatic unlocking and engine start, height and reach adjustable steering column and extra-tinted rear windows.
