Skoda Yeti Facelift - Specifications And Pricing Announced

Skoda Yeti Facelift was revealed in August during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Now the brand is announcing its specifications and pricing and it is expected to be available in the showrooms in January next year.

One of the most important updates is the availability of two versions of the crossover: Yeti and Yeti Outdoor. They include feature different design features which will help customers discovering the potential of the Yeti.

The refreshed package of this Skoda includes four engines lower on CO2 emissions, as well as new technology features like rear-view parking camera, bi-xenon lights with LED daytime running lights and KESSY keyless entry, start and exit system. In addition, four new metallic colours have also been added to the range: Moon White, Jungle Green, Metal Grey and Magnetic Brown.

The new refined Yeti now has a smoother design lines, body-coloured bumpers, sills and side strips. The car will be offered with a front-wheel-drive and will be available in three trim levels: S, SE and Elegance; as well as a choice of three clean and efficient engines, including a frugal 1.6 TDI CR 105 hp DPF GreenLine II unit that emits just 119g/km of CO2.

Next, the Skoda Yeti Outdoor has more rugged and masculine look. For instance, its bumpers embody a steeper approach and departure angles to facilitate off-road utilization. On the other hand, the use of black trim along the sides and lower elements of the bumper means that the Outdoor can take rough surfaces in its stride.

In the case of Yeti Outdoor, Skoda has included the optional fifth-generation Haldex Clutch four-wheel-drive system, and will offer the model in four trim grades, namely: S, SE, Elegance and L&K. The range includes two petrol engines and four diesels, with power outputs ranging from 105 hp to 170hp.
