U-Connect performance module for BMW 120d, 320d and 520d
Unichip Europe now offers a new performance-enhancing plug and play U-Connect piggy back upgrade for the BMW 163 and 177bhp, 2 liter four-cylinder diesel engine, which is mounted in the 120d, 320d and 520d models from 2003 onwards.
The 2.0 liter diesel engine gains 19bhp and 54Nm of torque (40 lb-ft), so the overall power becomes 182bhp or 195bhp, respectively. The 120d, 320d and 520d become more efficient with the added torque at the lower RPM and more fun to drive. All models have almost the same fuel consumption, which is 55mpg, which means a 5 to 10 per cent better than the standard.
The price is just £465.30 including VAT 17.5 per cent. The part number is PPBMW03.0, so it suits all manual and automatic transmission variants of the 120d, 320d, and 520d models from 2003 onwards.
