Volvo presents the HEICO V70 T6 AWD R-Design
Volvo, in cooperation with HEICO SPORTIV, has released its most powerful V70 mid-size five-door estate car ever. Dubbed HEICO V70 T6 AWD R-Design, the sporty-packed ride will be manufactured in limited number of only 100 units worldwide. The spacious Volvo is scheduled to hit the market in summer 2010 at a recommended price of 70,193.00 Euro, including 19% VAT.
On the outside, the vigor ride utilizes color metallic sapphire black paint work backed by R-Design features such as doorsills and bumpers, a roof spoiler, exterior mirror casings in matt chrome optic, chrome applications for the fog-lamp surround, as well as automatic level control. In addition to these eye-candy extras, the vehicle also sports 19-inch wheel set wrapped in 245/35 R19 Pirelli tires, HEICO sport suspension, shock absorbers and springs, and 30mm lowering.
In the terms of performance, the staggering V70 T6 AWD R-Design benefits from the 304 horsepower (224 kW) 6-cylinder straight-type turbo gasoline unit from Volvo, which is retrofitted with the HEICO's e.motion technology and delivers 325 horses (239 kW) and a peak torque of 460 Nm, available between 2,100 and 4,200 revs. Thanks to that, the ride is able to sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in only 5.9 seconds, before reaching its V-max of 250 km/h (electronically limited). Its average fuel consumption is 10.6 liters per 100 kilometers.
The HEICO V70 T6 AWD R-Design's cabin also highlights few exclusive details: aluminum door pins set, aluminum/leather gear shift knob, R-Design aluminum inlays, multifunctional leather sport steering wheel, sport pedals, as well as an edition plaque for the dashboard.
