Wiesmann MF4 and MF5 series with new BMW twin turbo engines
For the new model year, Wiesmann, the German sports car maker has announced that its model series MF4 and MF5 will be available with all-new BMW twin-turbo power units. Aimed at delivering the ‘ultimate driving fun', the newly powered vehicles will boast stronger and more agile figures, while working more efficiently and economically than their predecessors.
Under the bold skin of the Wiesmann MF4 GT and Roadster models, a BMW 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo direct injection petrol engine will be ready to produce the amazing 407 hp (300kW) between 5,500 to 6,400 revs. Fitted with the new plant, both models will be able to accelerate from zero to 60 mp/h in only 4.6 seconds, before reaching its Vmax of 180.8 mp/h.
Inside the power compartment of top-of-the-range MF5 series, a more impressive 4.4-liter V8 twin turbo direct injection unit will be offering the petrol heads exclusive M-motor figures of 555 hp at 5,750 to 6,750 rpm, 0 to 60 mph acceleration sprint in 3.9 seconds, and a top speed of 193.2 mp/h. This stunning output figures will available at just 10.7-liter per 100 km combined cicle, an incredible result at such performance heights.
