Hyundai Motorsport has taken the i20 WRC out of the workshop and onto the road at the start of its testing programme. The new i20 WRC has been put on various tests including checking the car’s systems. The hatchback is scheduled to make its official debut in the FIA World Rally Championship in 2014.

Another concept vehicle has been unveiled at the 2013 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, namely Hyundai Mistra Concept. The model is a preview of upcoming China-exclusive mid-sized family sedan.
The company will launch the production vehicle later this year. The Mistra is positioned between the Sonata and Elantra. Hyundai has announced the HND-9 Concept – brand’s Luxury Sports Coupe.
“HND-9 will give customers a glimpse of Hyundai’s future luxury sports coupe models. Hyundai has announced the 2013 ix35 Fuel Cell, which has been selected for the second consecutive year by the European Commission-backed Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) to demonstrate the real-world benefits of hydrogen fuel cell technology.

Hyundai will take part at the FIA World Rally Championship with its new specification i20 WRC. The model was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show showing-off all its assets. The model embodies remarkable enhancements to the exterior bodywork and suspension.
To be more precise, the upgrades are the result of collaborative work between Hyundai's R&D facility in Namyang, Koreaand and the newly formed Hyundai Motorsport GmbH in Alzenau,Germany, headed up by veteran WRC man Michel Nandan.

Hyundai has just released the first image showing its facelifted ix35. In addition it has been disclosed that the model is going to be revealed in Geneva this week. The new ix35 comes equipped with improved powertrain line-up, which features the European-developed gasoline engine named 'Nu' 2,0-litre GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection).

Euro NCAP has published a crash test video of the new 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe. The SUV managed to earn full five stars safety rating by independent vehicle assessment organization. Its scores on all four test categories make it one of the safest vehicles ever assessed and a leader in its segment.
