Lexus is going to roll out new visibility technology called Rear Cross Traffic alert. It will be featured in its range of sedans and SUVs. The first models to have the innovation are the soon-to-be-launched Lexus NX and RC Lines. In addition, the existing IS, ES, GS and LS, which currently include an optional blind spot monitoring, will also receive Rear Cross Traffic Alert technology before the end of 2014.

TRD (Toyota Racing Development) is now offering a number of styling accessories for the all-new Lexus NX. The mid-size crossover will get sportier appearance and improved overall performance.
The exterior upgrades for the stylish crossover include a new front splitter, a modified rear diffuser and a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. There is also a set of 19” forged aluminum lightweight wheels – 11.4 kg (25.1 lbs) each. All parts are available for both NX 200t and NX 300h.

Lexus has presented the Executive Edition of the new 2014 IS 300h. The super-efficient saloon is now available to order with pricing starting from £29,995. It packs a number of nice upgrades and boasts low tax and running costs.

Lexus Police Hi-Vis Hybrids are being launched as a part of the start of the official ski-season in Australia. The luxury company has partnered with the New South Wales Police to provide two hybrid powered high-visibility police vehicles. Lexus GS and RX 450h will be used for this purpose. The two models will patrol state's Southern Region. The vehicles will be utilized at a different regional and community based activities across the state, such as roadside campaigns, sporting, community and motorsport events.

Lexus is going to offer the new NX, which is the manufacturer’s first mid-size crossover. Initially, it will be available only as a full hybrid NX 300h, but later next year, it will be joined by NX 200t - the first model to adopt Lexus’s new 2.0-litre petrol turbo engine.

Lexus has published the first teaser image of the upcoming IS 25 Anniversario, which will make its official debut at the Madrid Auto Show in Spain. The special edition car will celebrate the brand's 25th anniversary and will be limited to 25 units exclusively for Spain.
