Nissan today celebrated the dedication of Nissan Americas in Franklin, Tenn. The new center serves as regional headquarters for the United States, Canada and Mexico. Tennessee Gov. The Renault-Nissan Alliance has confirmed the launch of a new manufacturing project in South Africa. Nissan’s manufacturing plant at Rosslyn was identified as having the potential to maximize synergies between Renault and Nissan.

Nissan announced that deliveries of the all-new 2009 Nissan GT-R are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 7, 2008.
