Tata is preparing for a full-scale European launch – including the UK – in 2010, with both the tiny Nano city car and a fully-revised Indica B-segment hatchback – including an electric version.
But the launch will not use the Rover brand – which Tata acquired through its purchase of Jaguar and Land-Rover. Instead, the Tata brand will be used worldwide for small cars.

Tata Motors today presented at the 79th Geneva Motor Show the Tata Nano Europa, intended for a future launch in select international markets. The company has also displayed the Tata Prima, a concept luxury sedan, and the Tata Indica Vista EV, an electric vehicle based on the award-winning new generation Tata Indica Vis

Tata Motors is organising free PUC (Pollution Under Control) check-up for its cars and utility vehicles on June 5, 2008. As part of the PUC check, emission related components would be checked and rectified. These include air filters, catalytic convertors, fuel injection pump, fuel injection timing, and engine compression. Customers participating in this initiative will be issued PUC certificates for vehicles that clear the emission level check.
