Volvo, in cooperation with HEICO SPORTIV, has released its most powerful V70 mid-size five-door estate car ever. Dubbed HEICO V70 T6 AWD R-Design, the sporty-packed ride will be manufactured in limited number of only 100 units worldwide. The spacious Volvo is scheduled to hit the market in summer 2010 at a recommended price of 70,193.00 Euro, including 19% VAT.

Volvo Cars and Goteborg Energi Company have signed an agreement letter of cooperation in the field of electrical vehicles, according to which, the Swedish automaker will provide the energy company with ten Volvo C30 Battery Electric vehicles during this autumn.

Volvo Car UK has revealed 119g/km DRIVe versions of its S80 executive saloon and V70 premium estate, the fourth and fifth body style it's launched delivering CO2 emissions below 120 g/km.
Delivering 109bhp and 240Nm of torque, the modified 1.6 litre turbocharged diesel engine provides improved fuel economy by 5.1mpg to 62.8mpg on the Combined Cycle, increasing both cars’ range to nearly 1100 miles.

The new Volvo C30 DRIVe was recently introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Powered by 1.6 liter diesel engine with Start/Stop technology the car consume only 3.8 litres diesel fuel per 100km and it emits only 99 grams of CO2/km. The car is able to cover a distance of 1380 kilometres on a single tank, 52 litres, of diesel. These figures make it one of the best hatchbacks on the market.
