Last weekend, the Concorso di Eleganza aesthetic competition was held at the Villa d'Este in Italy. No doubt, one can't spell aesthetic without Alfa Romeo. In it for some high-octane, gut-churning acoustics? Good. Here's an Internet circulating clip of the supposed DBS successor – the Aston Martin Project AM310 Concept. It was filmed this weekend at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy. An official debut is set for August while sales will most probably start in early 2013. Completely out of the blue, it's the Renault Alpine A 110-50 – a tribute to the original 1962 Alpine A 110 Berlinetta. A nostalgic DNA strain is clearly visible on the concept's design cues. Don't be fooled though – it's as modern as a teenager's mobile phone. The base for it is a Renault Mégane Trophy with minor changes in detail that make the difference.

It's been a tradition for over 30 years now – a convention within the convention – The “GTI Meeting at Wörthersee”.... for Volkswagen people. This year a concept “warm” hatch is making an appearance – It's the Polo WRC Street. And calling it warm is a massive understatement. Surely however, the GTI festival won't be a party of one. Lot's of other exciting appearances will be made as almost all of Europe rolls into Austria for the event.

Porsche will actually release the 918 Spyder. The manufacturer has finished the first prototype.
The powertrain includes a 4.6 liter V8 with 570HP (419 kW) and two electric motors – a 109HP (80 kW) on the front axle and a 122HP (90 kW) electric motor on the rear axle.
