Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo Convertible is on its way. The vehicle is based on open-top 6-Series with 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8. Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo Touring is currently on display in Geneva auto salon. The car is based on the BMW F10 5-Series 550i.
The engine is 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 with 507PS (373 kW) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft). It is mated to a the ZF 8-speed SWITCH-TRONIC automatic. 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.8 seconds and the top speed is somewhere over 300 km/h (186 mph).
The fuel consumption is amazing - 10.9 liters/100 km, but honestly, we don’t believe that information.

Alpina will exhibit the 2011 B5 Bi-Turbo Touring at the Geneva Motor Show, next week. There will be also a B5 Bi-Turbo Sedan, which is based on BMW F10 5 series.
