The 2023 Kia Soul is a new and improved version of the small car that has been popular since 2009 for its fun, practical and stylish design. It will be on sale later this summer with different colors and options to choose from. The price will be revealed soon.

Steve Center, COO & EVP of Kia America, said that the Soul created a new category of small cars when it joined the Kia family and it keeps offering fun, practicality and style in the 2023 model year. He said that more than 75,000 Soul owners were happy with the funky car last year, which increased sales by almost 5 percent compared to 2020. He said that the 2023 Soul will keep up with that trend with its updated design inside and out, advanced technology and feature-rich trims.

The Soul has always stood out for its bold and functional design and the 2023 model year maintains that tradition with a new front look. The new grill has LED headlights and fog lights that have been redesigned. New Daytime Running Lamps and turn signals complete the front-end makeover. New alloy wheels in 17- and 18-inch sizes and a new rear look and taillights finish the exterior changes. There are many solid and two-tone exterior colors available and they are matched by new two-tone color combinations: Clear White with Fusion Black roof, and Surf Blue with a Fusion Black roof.

Inside, what was good before stays good and what has changed makes it even better. The controls are easy to use and reach while the large touchscreen with navigation (standard on all trims except LX) is a nice addition to the tech-savvy cabin.

The Soul has fewer trim levels in 2023: LX, S, EX, GT-Line and GT-Line Tech.
