BMW has started production of M5 back in 1986 and since then all sports premium saloons have been powered by a powerful naturally aspirated engines. The E28 M5 had 3.5 liter I6 with 286HP (210 kW), the E34 M5 had 3.6 or 3.8 liter I6 with 315HP (232 kW) and 340HP (250 kW) respectively, the E39 M5 had a mighty 5.0 liter V8 with massive 400HP (294 kW) and the 2005 BMW E60 M5 is powered by a 5.0 liter V10 with 507HP (373 kW). As usual the specialists at Vorsteiner have been very active and now have a new project to present. This time they have redesigned the significant BMW F10 M5 Series, which looks stunning even without a tuning. However, its appearance was pretty much improved and now this BMW looks even more aggressive.

Not exactly breaking news, but a photo shoot of Vorsteiner's BMW F10 M5. We don't really need an excuse to relish in some eye-candy goodness, do we?
It's an delicate thing this, mainly because Vorsteiner haven't gone destroying it with a ridiculous body kit. In fact, this might just be the most reserved tuning effort of them all. BMW has announced a full range of ///M Performance accessories that will retrofit to M5, M6 Coupe, M6 Convertible and M6 Gran Coupe.

BMW has announced a new limited edition F10 M5, which is available exclusively in Japan. BMW M5 Nighthawk comes with some additional power and nice upgrades.
The exterior boasts a Frozen Black paint job as well as a dark chrome grille, adaptive LED headlights and matte black 20” alloy wheels fitted with performance tires.

The new optional Competition Package available for the 2014 BMW M5 F10 is priced at $7,300 in the US.
As we previously reported, the engine will be boosted with additional 15HP. The performance will get better thanks to M carbon ceramic brakes, updated suspension and damping systems, tuned stabilizer bars, 10 mm lowered ride height and new hydraulic rack-and-pinion steering with M-specific Servotronic function.

BMW will offer an optional Competition Package for the new 2014 M5 and M6 (Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe) facelift models. Besides the additional equipment, the package will also boost the engine. The Competition Package open up a new dimension of dynamics in customary BMW M style.
