Chevrolet Volt achieved an impressive result of 127 mpg, which is 1.85 liters per 100 km. Motor Trend blogger Jonny Lieberman tried to overestimate the result, which is actually 126.7mpg, but who cares, still it is superb. During the test, Chevy Volt used just 2.36 gallons of fuel on the 299 miles (481km) road trip. The journey started in southern California, on highways through the desert and mountain roads with changes in elevation, the Volt averaged 74.6 miles per gallon (3.1 liters/100 km)

Tomorrow, at the Barrett-Jackson event in Scottsdale, Arizona, General Motors will auction a limited-edition 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, which proceeds will be donated for earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. General Motors Company announced that the new name of Buick’s next mid-size sport sedan will be Buick Regal. The first Regal came on the market in 1991. The company made a facelift version of it in 1997 and the Regal came of stage in 2004. However, Buick GMC is planning to bring Buick Regal in production.

General Motors will support the production off 2011 Chevrolet Cruze and Volt by investing $230 million in four GM plants. Those plants will produce next generation fuel-efficient vehicles. Besides that the plants will be ECO-friendly by recycling more than 97 percent of the waste they generate.
