Toyota Prius v made its official debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The vehicle is a full hybrid MPV featuring Toyota’s world-leading Hybrid Synergy to Drive.

Another interesting Toyota vehicle will be presented at the 2010 SEMA Show. It is a new Prius PLUS Performance Package, which boasts a number of accessories from Toyota. Prius Plus Performance Package will be in limited production beginning in April 2011.
The Plus Performance package consists of an aerodynamic body kit, a sport suspension, and 17" alloys fitted with 215/45R17 tires.

Toyota officially announced full details, specs and price for 2011 Highlander. The new SUV features revised styling with new front fascia, hood and fender. It also has three-row seating with rear climate control. The four-cylinder engine is now available with 2011 Highlander and the company launched more powerful and advanced V6 plus electric motor for the Hybrid version.

Infiniti will reveal more details about M35h at the Paris Motor Show. The new hybrid car will be able to drive up to 80 km/h on electric power alone. It is powered by 3.5 litre V6 with 306PS supported by 50kW (68PS) electric motor. This model will finish the M Line along with the V6 petrol and V6 diesel. Audi A1 e-Tron is on its way. The company teamed up with E.ON, Stadtwerke Munchen and the Technical University of Munich to begin tests of twenty A1 e-Tron cars.

Toyota and EDF Energy today launch a three-year leasing programme, which brings extra-low emissions plug-in hybrid vehicle technology to the streets of London.

Recently, Volkswagen has announced the price list for 2011 Touareg and now it is available to order in UK. The first deliveries will start in October this year. Prices start at £38 225 for the SE 3.0-litre TDI 240 PS, while the Hybrid model, which goes on sale next month, costs £54 995.
