Mazda Motor Corporation will debut two new models of the all-new Mazda3 product range at the 2009 Geneva International Motor Show1 from March 3 through 15, 2009. The world premiere of the Mazda3 with i-stop, Mazda’s advanced fuel-saving start-stop system, will be shared with the all-new Mazda3 MPS, Mazda3’s high performance flagship model at the Geneva show. Mazda Motor Corporation has confirmed that the all-new Mazda3 (known as Mazda Axela in Japan) four-door sedan and five-door hatchback models will be shown at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), to be held in Detroit from January 11 through January 25, 2009.
Mazda first unveiled the fully redesigned, all-new Mazda3 sedan at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show, followed by the global reveal of the five-door hatchback model at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy.

Mazda has confirmed that the four-door saloon version of the all-new Mazda3, completely redesigned for the first time in five years, will be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show on 19th November 2008.
The all-new Mazda3, which is the latest evolution of Mazda’s next generation Zoom‑Zoom products, follows the introduction of the all‑new Mazda2 and all-new Mazda6 last year. The all-new Mazda3 will be revealed during Mazda’s press conference at LA Auto Show from 12:20 to 12:45 (local time)
