In the UK, Nissan has decided to add two new trim levels to an already colourful lineup of Micras. Called Kuro (black from Japanese) and Shiro (white), the two editions are now ready to order with a price starting at £11,550 for the 1.2 liter naturally aspired engine coupled with a manual transmission. However the new supercharged DIG-S power plant and the CVT automatic gearbox are also available as options.

2011 Nissan Micra DIG-S is priced at £11 150 and it will hit the market on 1st September. The new DIG-S engine boasts low-emission technology and good performance without sacrificing the fuel economy.
The new 1.2 litre three cylinder supercharged petrol engine DIG-S boasts 98PS and returns 65.7 mpg on the combined cycle and emissions of just 95g/km of CO2 for the Visia version. The engine is mated to 5-speed manual or an optional advanced CVT automatic for additional £1 000.

Nissan will blow the rivals away with a supercharger and emissions of just 95g/km. The new DIG-S (Direct Injection Gasoline-Supercharger) engine features direct injection with a supercharger, so it is very high efficient.
The DIG-S is 1.2 liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine with 98PS (72 kW) and 95 or 115 g/km of CO2. It is mated to either manual or CVT version transmission. The top speed is 112 mph and the fuel economy reaches 68.9mpg.

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced that the new Micra C+C will go on sale at dealers across Japan beginning on July 23. This unique, limited volume "coupe/convertible," imported from Europe, has been modified for the Japanese market.
The Micra C+C is noted for its power-retractable glass roof that opens or closes at the touch of a button in about 22 seconds. With the roof closed, the car has a stylish appearance suggestive of a hardtop coupe. With the top down, the Micra C+C offers the op
