Five teasers for the five timer. Here's the final pre-New York video of the Nissan Altima and the first impression is: “Oh dear, it's more than 8 seconds long!!” A lot longer in fact... 20 seconds. So, this year's New York International Auto Show will become the venue of the descending sedans...from Japan. First there's the Nissan Altima with its dreary ad/teaser campaign. Then yesterday, Toyota announced their plans to reveal a “stunning” sedan. And now... Toyota tease another Sedan. Well, I'm saying Toyota, but I actually mean Lexus – It's the new, sixth generation of the ES.

Nissan won't be the only company that shows back ends as teasers for the New York International Auto Show. Here's something from Toyota as well. Supposedly it will be a “stunning” sedan that has been U.S.-designed. The global premiere will take place in the Galleria room within the Jacob Javits Center at 10:30 a.m. EDT on April 5, 2012.

Yet another teaser from Nissan – thrilling. This time we get a verification that the upcoming Altima has doors... four of them (or two on one side). Then they say that they have an image as well, but it's just a still shot from the video. What good is that?

Nissan brand has just released their third video clip which offers additional insight on the bold new design of long-expected new 2013 Nissan Altima. The new Nissan Altima will be available at the market in October 5th with updated exterior, refined interior and will include some advanced technologies. There will be three different models - Altima Sedan, Altima Coupe and Altima Hybrid.
The suggested prices for Altima Sedan start from $19,900 for 2.5 litre engine up to $24,520 for 3.5 litre V6.
Nissan Altime Coupe stars from $22,440 and the price go up to $29,600 for the most powerful version. Altima HEV (Hybrid) is priced at $26,780.

Nissan released the first image of the 2010 Nissan Altima. The 2010 model gets minor exterior and interior changes. This mid-size car comes in sedan and coupe versions.
The engines are 2.5 litre four cylinder with 175hp and 3.5 litre V6 delivering 270hp. The gear-box is 6 speed manual and there is a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT),which is an option. Hybrids pair the 4-cylinder engine and CVT with a battery-powered electric motor for 198 hp.
