Skoda Yeti has been awarded by The Green Organisation, an independent group dedicated to promoting the positive side of environmental behavior. The compact SUV has won International Green Apple Environment Award.

Skosa Yeti received the top award in the 2010 Auto Express New Car Awards. It is named „Car of the Year” by the top-selling weekly automotive magazine and website.
Skoda took totally five awards at the event, held Tuesday evening, 3 August. Skoda Superb was named Best Family Car and the Estate version took the Best Estate Car award. Furthermore, Yeti was also awarded Best Crossover.

Skoda took three awards from the Diesel Car magazine’s annual awards. Superb got Best Large Car for second year running. Yeti is announced as runner-up in Best Crossover Car and Super Estate took the crown for Best Estate Car.
Skoda Superb once again prove that it is extraordinary good car. Along with its Estate version, which also outshone the competition in its class.

Skoda retailers have opened their doors for orders of the brand new Yeti. Customers can now place orders for the Czech manufacturer’s new crossover vehicle, six weeks ahead of its official on-sale date of 17 September 2009.

The first Skoda Yeti rolled off the assembly line at Skoda's Kvasiny, Czech Republic plant on Tuesday 12 May 2009.
