Subaru of America unveiled the new 2022 WRX, the brand’s vehicle with most advanced features to date. This is the fifth generation of the lineup, which comes with the massive 271hp via a 2.4-liter turbocharged Subaru BOXER engine, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Subaru announced that the Automatic Emergency Braking system will become a standard feature for all of brand's lineup in the US by 2022. Cool, right?

Subaru is going to premiere its WRX STI rallycross car at the New York Auto Show tomorrow after a year of secret development. The rally team will compete with this car in the Red Bull Global and X Games Rallycross. Besides its sporting name, this vehicle is actually dubbed VT15x and is based on the popular STI. The technicians at Subaru joined forces for its development with Vermont SportsCar and have finished the racer in four long years. So the expectations on this car are very, very high.

Subaru has published two nice video clips of the new lap record at the Isle of Man TT Road Course. The 2015 WRX STI managed to stop the clock at 19 minutes and 26 seconds. It was driven by the British rally champion Mark Higgins.

As promised, the 2015 Subaru WRX STI is now official at the Detroit Auto Show. In what can be described as a celebratory spirit, the Japanese company has decided to sell 1000 units of it in limited form called the Launch Edition. It's more recognizable feature is the only available paint job called WR Blue Pearl. Gold-painted 18-inch BBS alloy wheels finish the legendary look.

While the audience at the 2013 LA Auto Show are oohing and aahing at the new WRX, Tokyo gets to see a different Subaru product. It's the world premiere of the Subaru Levorg - a concept with quite possibly the daftest name in the game. It (the name) is actually a combination of three words: “Legacy”, “Revolution” and “Touring”. Who would have thought? Still not in production, the completed version is expected on the spring of 2014.

Exciting news from the LA Auto Show. The 2015 Subaru WRX is now a fact of life. It's more powerful and better handling than its iconic predecessors. It is also the first WRX to feature a six-speed manual or, as an option, the newly developed Sport Lineartronic CVT that has two manual modes.
Subaru say that this latest WRX is an important evolutionary step for their rally-bred performance line. Technologically speaking, we see a new torque-vectoring system that adds to the already sophistica
