Tata has launch of the new Tata Nano CNG emax. The vehicle is powered by a fuel efficient engine with CNG and Petrol bi-fuel system options. The car is extremely fuel efficient and has CO2 emissions of 75.6 g/km and it is also one of the most fuel efficient cars in India having a combined fuel consumption of just 36 km/kg.
In fact, Nano CNG emax is the first of the five cars in the emax series of CNG cars. It is en eco-friendly vehicle which takes the Nano's efficiency prowess even further. F

The new Tata Nano comes with a number of improvements: better fuel efficiency, new premium interiors, new vibrant colours, best-in-class air-conditioning, lowest CO2 emission, among cars in India and most important all this at the same price.
2012 Nano is powered by a 624cc engine with 38PS (28 kW) and 51Nm (38 lb-ft), which is an increase of 3PS (2 kW) and 3Nm (2 lb-ft). Seems like nothing, but in car with such dimensions, it is a lot. The fuel efficiency is 59.7 mpg - 3.9 litres per 100 km.

Ratan Tata has revealed a production version of the Pixel concept which recently debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. The new vehicle will replace the previously announced Nano Europa which was scheduled to be launched late last year.Tata Pixel is designed specifically for Europe and features four seats, conventional doors and a retuned chassis.Pixel will be powered by 1.2 liter three-cylinder diesel with 61PS (45 kW). The car is expected to return 69mph (3.4 l/100km) and 89 g/km of CO2 emissions.

Tata Motors today announced the commercial launch of the Tata Nano, keenly awaited across India since its unveiling on January 10, 2008. The Tata Nano is BS-III* compliant and comes with an all-new 2-cylinder aluminium MPFI 624 cc petrol engine mated to a four-speed gear box and will be available in three variants. Tata is preparing for a full-scale European launch – including the UK – in 2010, with both the tiny Nano city car and a fully-revised Indica B-segment hatchback – including an electric version.
But the launch will not use the Rover brand – which Tata acquired through its purchase of Jaguar and Land-Rover. Instead, the Tata brand will be used worldwide for small cars.
